Welcome to Charlton Mackrell Church of England Primary School

I would like to extend a very warm welcome to Charlton Mackrell C of E Primary School and Preschool.  Here at Charlton Mackrell, we are committed to providing a safe, inclusive and happy environment, where the children are at the centre of all we do. As a Church of England School, we encourage kindness and respect for all members of our school community and link the curriculum to our Christian values.

At Charlton Mackrell we aim to foster positive communication with all school partners and recognise that teachers, parents, governors and the wider community all have an important role to play in contributing to the children’s education. We recognise that children’s years here will be formative, and we work hard to provide opportunities for each child to thrive and grow in confidence, both academically and personally in their time spent as members of our school family.

We recognise that our school is situated in a very beautiful setting, and we aim to encourage the children to make the most of the well-equipped outside areas and the local environment, as an active part of their learning. We also offer outstanding opportunities in music and sport.
