Charltons Preschool Curriculum Outcomes

Outcomes
Your child will benefit from our own fantastic and secure self-contained premises; with an enclosed outdoor decking area and an excellent Forest School.

The Preschool is overseen by the Early Years teacher, Mrs Carter and all sessions are run by our experienced team of qualified Early Years staff. Ensuring your child is looked after and cared for in the best possible way.

We are proud that we are also Forest School trained, which allows us to spend weekly sessions in our Forest School.

You can take advantage of up to 30 hours funded sessional care and up to 15 hours of free sessional care per week from the term after your child’s third birthday. Funding is also available for eligible two year olds with working parents.

Preschool frequently enjoys working together with the reception class and often takes part in joint activities.  When old enough to move on to the next phase of their learning journey, children move on within Charlton Mackrell School or other schools within their catchment.

Take a look at this PowerPoint, it shows the developmental steps and how you might support your child. What-to-expect-in-the-EYFS
