CHARLTON MACKRELL SCHOOL COUNCIL

"We are members of the School Council.  It is our job to be the pupil voice.  We ask our classes how the school could be improved and put forward ideas.  Last year the school council asked for a therapy dog and we got Daisy.  We have also looked at the library and reading.  Making playtimes better has been another area where we have helped.  With the help of Mrs Thompson, we put forward ideas and work out ways of making our school a better place."

This year the School Council are helping to raise money for new IT equipment and supporting the headteacher with her parachute jump.

The team have also organised fund raising for Children in Need and Save the Children with a Christmas Jumper Day.
